I had a great little 2hr cartoon lesson last Saturday (in my shop/studio) with
Emahlynn, visiting from Dunedin.
She told her Mum & Dad that she wanted to draw with me
without them being present...
And it means the world to me (with my 30yrs of experience teaching this year)
that they were more than happy to oblige her request.
The trust, rapport and connection that comes from
working with tamariki (for so long) is something that I am very proud of.
And the on-going endorsement & support from parents
(for my life's work and legacy as an educator & role-model)
is very, very appreciated!!
